ENVIRONMENTAL TAXES AND THE EMISSIONS TRADING SYSTEM – THE MODERN MARKET TOOLS OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

Abstract
Research is devoted to comparison of environmental taxes and emission trading system as an instrument of market protection leisure. Identified the key elements and benefits of the use of environmental taxes. The analysis of the emis- sions trading scheme and to assess its strengths and weaknesses. Illuminated, which states give preference to a particular market instruments for environmental protection.
