Ethic-design as a composition formation of scientific concepts on ukrainian national style at the beginning of the 20th century

Abstract
ltural space of Ukraine at the beginning of the 20th century by an analysis of the scientific positions of leading scientists and artists-practitioners of the era. The methodology of the research consists in using a complex historicalcultural approach, methods of comparative analysis, comparison and generalization. The mentioned issue made it possible to identify the specifics of the formation of the concept of the Ukrainian national style in the context of the European tendencies of national romanticism of those years. The scientific novelty consists in an attempt to reveal ways of understanding the place and role of ethnic-design as a component of the Ukrainian national style in the scientific and creative community of Ukraine of the specified period. The views of representatives of the Ukrainian science of art about the historically formed differences of the national ethnic-design and directions of its modern development as a component of the Ukrainian style are described. The contribution of N. Bilyashivsky, K. Shirocki, V. Shcherbakivsky was revealed. V. Krichevsky in the process of resolving the problem. Conclusions. The discussion of the essence and parameters of the Ukrainian national style of fine arts in the Ukrainian society of the beginning of the 20th century was based on the ancient heritage and modern achievements of ethnodizaina. The theoretical development of the concept of the Ukrainian style played an essential role in the development of national self-awareness of the era.
