Ethno-cultural potential of the Carpathian region as a component of professional-pedagogical preparation of the future primary school teachers

Abstract
The article reveals modern approaches to professional training of the future primary school teachers by means of ethnoculture of the Carpathian region, formation of their motivation to pedagogical activity in the educational space of the mountain school. The peculiarities of spiritual culture of population of the Ukrainian Carpathians have been cleared out, positive and negative features of the highlanders’ character have been revealed, which are reflected in folklore and fiction. The essence of the concept «ethno-cultural potential of the Carpathian region» has been substantiated, the ways of its use in the educational process of the educational level «Bachelor» of the specialty «Primary education» during the study of compulsory disciplines of professional-pedagogical preparation («Methodology of teaching of the Ukrainian language», «Methodology of Teaching literary reading», etc.) have been singled out. The expediency of using interactive learning methods in teaching linguodidactic disciplines and professional techniques has been proved. Approbation of the components of ethno-culture of residents of the Ukrainian Carpathians during the study of linguodidactic courses showed their high pedagogical potential, contributed to the formation of positive motivation of students for professional activity, interested them in national-cultural achievements of the inhabitants of the Carpathian region of Ukraine.
