Evaluation of interest in Total Quality Management according to the publications selected from Emerald database

Abstract
The paper aims to assess the interest of researchers in Total Quality Management based on the analysis of the electronic publication selected from Emeral database. Literature review and frequency analysis are the main methods used in this paper. The publication describes TQM, presents the following steps as a basis for creating TQM and shows TQM development towards excellence. The analysis shows that the highest interest in TQM was in the second half of the 80's and in 90’s of the twentieth century starts a gradual decline of interest in TQM. Analyses also indicate that the declining trend looks like the waves, which are slowly flattened over time.
