Evaluation Of Satisfaction Levels And Its Associated Variables For Anatomy Education In Medical Students

Abstract
ABSTRACT: Background: This study was designed to asses the satisfaction level of medical students for anatomy education they received in the 2013-2014 academic year. Methods: The comparative and descriptive type study was conducted on the first and second year students of four medical schools. Data was collected via a questionnaire in the form of likert scale and evaluated by SPSS 18.0 software. Values are expressed as mean and standard deviation. Student’s t-test was used to compare the groups for significant differences. The level of significance was determined as p<0.05. Results: 133, 222 142 and 321 medical students, respectively, from Balıkesir University Medical School, Kocatepe University Medical School Namık Kemal University Medical School and Erciyes University Medical School were attended to the study. The students rated overall level of satisfaction with anatomy education as moderate. Level of satisfaction showed chances depending on class, tough of student assessment about the education should be considered. Conclusions: The students rated overall level of satisfaction with anatomy education as moderate.
