Evaluation of U.S - Japan relations and policies against China as an emerging power in Asia -Pacific

Abstract
Certainly, the most important parts of the world which has always been regarded by U.S is Asia – Pacific. Considering its own interests, U.S has always established military presence in this region, which has had adverse consequences such as the rise of China and U.S conflicts. The East Asia has been considered very important in U.S foreign policy, so that it has forced the U.S officials to increases their military investments in this region. Considering military strategies, based on the security treaties, which have been signed between U.S, Japan and Taiwan, the U.S officials look at this region as a geostrategic region in their foreign policy. Since Japan is the world's second largest economic power, it follows the U.S anti China's strategies. The increase in military costs and investigation in the field of advanced military technologies has increased Japan's domination and influence in the Asia region greatly. Although China is inclined to cooperate with Japan based on mutual security, but the Japan's strategies military and its alliance with U.S is to confine the China's influence in the South-Asia and ward off its probable threats. The question, which is posed in this paper, is how U.S and Japan can control China's emerging power in East Asia. The possible hypothesis and answer is that U.S adopts alliance and cooperation with Japan strategies aimed at curbing China influence in East Asia.
