EVOLUTION OF THE BANKING SYSTEM IN A MARKET ECONOMY

Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the basic stages of the banking system formation in the current conditions of market relations. The authors examine the peculiarities of the impact of the globalization in the conditions of the transformation of banking structures. The paper also outlines the modern trends in the deformation of the financial space. It highlights the current evolutionary trends of the world banking system. The authors also make a number of forecasts for future globalization trends in the banking sector.
