Experimental Studies on Structure Profile of Cast Aluminum Alloys
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2005, Vol 28, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper presents experimental studies regarding the behavior after heat treatment of two cast aluminum alloy. So, we selected a typical charge for studying the structure profile. The studies that we have done can reveal the advantage of controlling the heating process at heat treatment of aluminum alloys. Doing the studies that are described in the paper, we have obtained the microstructure profile that can express the importance of the process.

Researces on Treatment Station and the Sewage Network in the Village Ghidigeni, Galati
The population of the village is entitled to use the water supply, either through direct connections to the system, with drinking fountains in the yards or through network drinking fountains located in the street. The co...
Electrochemical Deposition and SEM Surface Morphology of Co and UHMWPE/Co Composite Layers
The work aims at obtaining composite coatings in cobalt matrix with dispersed phase UHMWPE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene) and at characterizing the surface morphology analyse by SEM, the thickness of the depo...
Severe Plastic Deformed Pure Aluminum by Equal Channel Angular Pressing
Samples of an aluminum alloy were subjected to an equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) at room temperature for one pass. For the several specimens severe plastic deformation process was interrupted to observe the mater...
The Influence of Steam Treatment on Mechanical Properties and Abrasive Wear Behavior of Sintered P/M Steels
In this paper is a study of the influence of steam treatment on sintered P/M steels, for three different types of powder. The abrasive wear of steam-treated sintered iron is analysed by abrasion tests. The specimens were...
Experimental Research Regarding the Obtaining of Friction Elements
Friction materials are used as bimetallic friction elements, consisting of a friction material layer sintered on a steel backing. Using the electron microscopy techniques (microprobe analyzer) some of the diffusion proce...
