Extended Coupled Stochastic Models for Management of Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) Patients
Journal Title: Journal of Advanced Research in Applied Mathematics and Statistics - Year 2017, Vol 2, Issue 3
Abstract
In this article the researchers have proposed extended coupled stochastic models for assessing the levels of glucose and insulin among diabetic patients by adding physical activity parameter. The study has also provided comparative model for measuring glucose and insulin levels among the mean values of 250 mg/dl and 300 mg/dl of T2DM patients by considering simultaneous differential equations. Runge-Kutta numerical method has been applied for estimating several statistical measures and sensitivity analysis is carried out with varying values of the parameters in the cases of (i) Persons with Mean Glucose of 250 mg/dl and (ii) Persons with mean Glucose of 300 mg/dl.

New Log-Half-Cauchy distribution with Properties & Application to Lifetime Data
In this paper a new distribution based on Cauchy distribution called new log half-Cauchy distribution is proposed. This model is flexible enough to model different types of lifetime data having different forms of failure...
Vibration of Non-Homogeneous Visco-Elastic Rectangular Plate Having Linearly Varying Thickness in Both Directions with Thermal Gradient Effect
In the modern time, there is extensive use of the plates of variable thickness in the field of engineering such as jet engines designing, space crafts, gas turbines, nuclear power projects etc. The effect of variation of...
Stochastic and Optimization Models for Two Stage Cancer Studies with Homogeneous Processes
In this paper, stochastic model for carcinogenesis under the assumption of homogeneous birth-and-death processes using ordinary linear differential equations has been considered [1]. The statistical measures based on mom...
