EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY IN THE COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS FORMATION OF THE FUTURE AVIATION SPECIALISTS

Abstract
Abstract. The value of extracurricular activity in the communicative skills formation of the future aviation specialists is highlighted in the article. It’s proven that communication training of future aviation specialists is ensured by extracurricular activity which considered to be the best one in communicative training organization. The main task of the research is to specify the value of extracurricular activity in the communicative skills formation of the future aviation specialists. A great number of foreign and native scientists, for instance Abdulov R. M., Aleksiuk A. M., Buriak V. K., Havryliuk O. O., Hrekova N. P., Hryhorenko L. V., Kondrashova L. V., Onuchak L. V., Petrovych V. S., Yazvinska O. M. etc., have been trying to determine the contents of extracurricular activity, as well as its kinds, exactly individual, collective, massive and complex. It goes without saying that extracurricular activity plays a great role in the future aviation specialists’ professional formation. Coupled with the theoretical training and different types of practice it would provide excellent background for the independent professional activity. Taking into account the specific features of the aviation profession, extracurricular activity should combine such kinds of activities which provide the aviation specialist’ mental stamina and endurance training, as well as situations’ modeling which would be useful for students’ thoughts, mood, psychological condition and feelings management. Taking part in various types of extracurricular activity the future aviation specialists have an opportunity not only to form but to check their communicative skills and realize the problems of professional communication, to improve moral professional characteristics. Massive kinds of extracurricular activity are recognized to be the most effective forms at higher schools. The simultaneous participation of many students is of great advantage for massive kinds due to such peculiarities as emotional impact and festive atmosphere. These kinds of extracurricular activity have been described in the article due to their cognitive and entertainment aspects, and broad opportunities for students’ activity. It has been determined that extracurricular activity used in the process of communicative skills formation of the future aviation enables communication techniques’ mastering and professional communication’ modeling.
