FACTORS AND PRECONDITIONS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EUROPEAN HIGHER EDUCATION: PROBLEMS AND PERSPECTIVES

Abstract
The internal and external factors and preconditions for European higher pedagogical education development are revealed in the article. The essence of the concepts «integration» and «integrative processes» have been characterized. These factors have been described: integrative processes of education; the Bologna Process; modernization; competence-oriented approach; innovative learning technologies; globalization processes in education. Modernization as the factor of European higher pedagogical education development has been revealed, which presupposes the innovative development of this educational sector in the system of education. The investigations of European integration processes in the modern theory and practice of European higher pedagogical education have been analyzed. The integrative processes and the competence-oriented approach have been chosen key factors. Topical problems and perspectives of higher education development, the competence-oriented approach are considered important factors of European higher pedagogical education development. Some perspective directions in the European higher pedagogical education development have been described.
