Family as a Cultural Factor of Personality’s Actualization and Empathy Development

Abstract
We study family as the main institution of personality socialization and a substantial factor in the development of individualistic or collectivist self-consciousness. We also investigate correlations between teenage empathy indicators and perceived parental attitudes.
