Features of legislative regulation of the construction industry in Ukraine

Abstract
The purpose of research is to determine the priority ways to improve the legal support for the construction industry in Ukraine. The article analyzes modern regulatory and legal regulation of the construction industry. At the legislative level and at the level of normative legal acts of the lowest level, there are many inconsistencies in certain provisions of laws and regulations. It is shown that it is necessary to streamline the issues on the delimitation of the architectural and town-planning spheres of activity. Taking into account the requirements of time and international experience, new methods for improving regulation are proposed. It is proposed to develop and adopt the Construction Code of Ukraine, which will cover all issues of the industry. The approximate structure of this Construction Code is given. It can become the basis for a new comprehensive legislative act. The development of proposals took into account the experience of technically developed countries in the implementation of the mechanisms of technical regulation in construction. The implementation of these proposals will help determine the general legal basis for all stages of the construction of facilities for the construction and operation of real estate. Also, new methods will help to streamline the activities of the construction industry. In the future, the implementation of these proposals will actively develop the construction industry in Ukraine and make it competitive on the international market.
