Abstract
The global financial crisis, started in the USA in 2008 and affected all countries, re-emerged the discussions on the relationship between financial development and economic growth. This paper examined the relationship between financial development and economic growth in Turkey by using Hacker-Hatemi-J causality test and quarterly observations over the period of 2003-2015. According to the results, it was found that there was no causality in the pre-crisis period but post-crisis period.
