Flooding of the Kherson region: analysis of the causes, ways to solve the problem

Abstract
In this work the reasons of geoecological threat of Kherson region – flooding of the territory are analyzed. Conditions for applying different types and types of drainage are given. Taxonomy of negative consequences due to flooding of territories has been carried out. The necessity of introduction of the newest technologies and types of drainage in the conditions of the built-up areas is indicated.
