ФОЛЬКЛОРНИЙ МОТИВ ГРІХА-СПОКУТИ В СУЧАСНІЙ УКРАЇНСЬКІЙ ЖІНОЧІЙ ПРОЗІ (НА МАТЕРІАЛІ РОМАНІВ МАРІЇ МАТІОС, ЛЮКО ДАШВАР, ОЛЕНИ ПЕЧОРНОЇ, ВАЛЕНТИНИ МАСТЄРОВОЇ)

Abstract
У статті проаналізовано рецепцію фольклорного мотиву гріха-спокути в сучасній українській жіночій прозі на прикладі творів Марії Матіос, Люко Дашвар, Олени Печорної, Валентини Мастєрової. Авторами доведено, що фольклорні мотиви є активним елементом розвитку сучасної української прози, для якої характерне не тільки новаторство, а й переосмислення літературної традиції. The article analyzes the reception of the folklore motif of «sin / redemption» in contemporary Ukrainian women’s prose, using the example of the novels of Maria Matios, Lyuko Dashvar, Olena Pechorna, Valentyna Masterova. The authors prove that the folklore motifs are considered to be an active element in the development of contemporary Ukrainian prose, which is characterized not only by innovation but also by rethinking of the literary tradition. M. Heidegger, at the time, convincingly proved that the phenomenon of art is inherently linked to the phenomenon of national identity, spiritual existence. Folklore texts seamlessly focus on the aesthetic and spiritual demands of the people, their ideological system of the representations of the outside world and, constantly interacting with literary works, affect them and, at the same time, undergo logical transformations themselves. The folklore elements, present in the novels of the female writers, are viewed through the prism of the characters' perception of the world, and touch upon the national and cultural values, impeccably combined with present-day realities. Therefore they generate not only readers' interest, but also contribute to the revival of national identity, the orientation of readers to the original moral and ethical dominants. The active use of folklore takes place not only at the ornamental, but also at the ethno-cultural and mental levels, actualizing the text for readers of different age groups. The contemporary writers depict the complex world of the female characters and present various options of their staying in complicated existential situations, permanent changes in their feelings, overcoming of loneliness, preserving the spiritual foundations. The contemporary women's female prose cultivates the world of moral and ethical values, that is important nowadays, and the outlined in the novels life wisdom encourages readers to think deeply about significant problems of human existence. Such leading human instincts as the instinct of life and motherhood successfully counteract destructive impulses and get synthesized in the interestingly described personal traits of the female characters in the novels. The prospect of the further literary research is to examine other perspectives of the world of women's prose, in particular, problematics, genre specificity, dominant elements of characterization. In our opinion, it will supplement the notion of such a phenomenon as women's prose.
