FORMATION OF CREATIVE POTENTIAL IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE TRAINING TARGETED TO THE FUTURE TEACHERS MAJORING IN MUSICAL ART

Abstract

Despite scientists’ profound study of the problem dealing with creative potential, the issues devoted to the formation of the designated phenomenon in the context of piano training targeted to the the future teachers of Music in the process of education at pedagogical universities have not been sufficiently revealed. Therefore, the aim of the article is to highlight the problem of creative potential, to identify its specificity in the context of piano training targeted to the the future teachers of musical art. The consistency of the musical art teacher’s creative potential is manifested in the systemic attributes of the studued phenomenon which are typical of the systems of self-organization and self-development. The formation process of creative potential in the process of piano training is not spontaneous or uncontrolled. It has its owm mechanisms and logic, in spite of the fact that creative activity of a teacher of music, especially performance of a musical work on a musical instrument includes affective and intuitive processes which are characterized by uncertainty and multiplicity. Readiness for practical implementation of innovative ideas gives a future teacher an opportunity to see the essence of psychological reasons and pedagogical problems, to build effective creative individual strategies of these problems solution (in real time and in perspective) on their basis taking into consideration all outer and inner peculiarities. Pedagogue’s creative potential is connected with innovative potential which is actualized in the specialist’s readiness to perform his ‘ her own pedagogical activity in a creative way, it is characterized by the need to search for non-standard ways enabling the fulfillment of pedagogical tasks. In the process of piano training targeted to the future teachers of musical art the formation of creative potential is a necessary task of the artistic and pedadagogical environment, since the formed creative potential enables the transformation of the acquired artistic experience and its efficient use in new, non-standard pedagogical situations. The purposeful formation of creative potential in the process of piano training targeted to teachers of musical art develops students’ conscious need and ability to deal with educational and practical activities in a creative way; it is an indispensable condition for efficient professional development in the field of artistic education. The essence of the creative potential formation and its significance within the training of the future teachers of musical art have been considered in the article. The contents and specificity of creative potential have been defined and revealed, in the context of piano training at pedagogical universities, to be more precise.
