Formation of nanostructured state in LaBGeO5 monolithic glass using pulsed magnetic fields
Journal Title: Semiconductor Physics, Quantum Electronics and Optoelectronics - Year 2016, Vol 19, Issue 3
Abstract
Using the methods of transmission electron microscopy, X-ray structure analysis and thermal differential analysis, it has been discovered that the pulsed magnetic field (PMF) intensifies homogeneous crystallization in LaBGeO5-glass system, promotes homogenization of crystalline phase distribution inside the bulk of glass matrix. A possibility of obtaining the volume nanostructured state in LaBGeO5-glass due to application of PMF has been suggested and experimentally grounded.

Tin-induced crystallization of amorphous silicon assisted by a pulsed laser irradiation
The process of tin-induced crystallization of amorphous silicon under the influence of different types of laser irradiation was investigated using the method of Raman scattering by thin-film Si-Sn-Si structures. The depe...
Structure and Raman spectra of (Cu6PS5I)1–x(Cu7PS6)x mixed crystals
Mixed (Cu6PS5I)1–x(Cu7PS6)x crystals were grown using a direct crystallization technique. Being based on the X-ray diffraction data, their crystal structure was studied, showing face-centred cubic lattice for Cu6PS5I-ric...
Drift correction of the analyzed area during the study of the lateral elemental composition distribution in single semiconductor nanostructures by scanning Auger microscopy
The main difficulty in obtaining the lateral elemental composition distribution maps of the semiconductor nanostructures by Scanning Auger Microscopy is the thermal drift of the analyzed area, arising from its local heat...
Search of mode wavelengths in planar waveguides by using Fourier transform of wave equation
The article describes a numerical method based on Fourier transform for studying propagating optical waves in dielectric planar waveguides. The inverse problem to the known direct one in waveguide investigation is propos...
Carbon ceramics from plants: Graphitization of biomorphic matrixes
Properties of matrixes obtained from plants at various pyrolysis temperatures have been discussed. The article is devoted to graphitization of carbon matrixes obtained from plants. All stages of production, starting from...
