FORMATION OF THE FUTURE OFFICER OF THE ARMED FORCES OF UKRAINE AS A SUBJECT OF MILITARY-PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

The experience of training officer personnel for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the analysis of the results of military-professional activity of graduates of higher military educational establishments allows us to establish a systemic psychological and pedagogical problem that concerns the formation of future officers as subjects of military-professional activity. The generalization of the results of the performance of officers and combat missions during the Operation of the Joint Forces (Anti-terrorist operation) undoubtedly points to the urgent need for changes in the system of training military personnel, primarily the basis of the troops – its officer corps. The result of higher military education in modern conditions is the formation of cadets – future officers of the ability to be the subject of their lives, respond adequately to changes, readiness for military-professional activity and the ability to form the social and educational subjectivity of subordinate servicemen, and most importantly to perceive and broadcast it in its military-professional activities. The result of the above will be the ability of an officer to fulfill his main task – to effectively manage subordinate servicemen both in peacetime and during combat tasks, to make informed decisions and to consciously bear responsibility for them. At the same time, today the formation of the subjects qualities of the students necessary for the successful accomplishment of their tasks is considered by higher military educational institutions as a secondary and non-priority task; the advantage is given to the formation of skills in using weapons and tactics of military units in various conditions of the situation . Taking into account the aforementioned, the need to analyze the problem of forming the subjectivity of the officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is relevant, since the need to update the subjects of the cadets as future officers while studying at higher military educational institutions does not yet have sufficient theoretical, methodological and methodological justification in pedagogical science.
