FORMULAS FOR CALCULATING BASIC CHARACTERISTICS OF MARINE LOW SPEED PISTON COMBUSTION ENGINES

Abstract
The paper presents formulas developed for calculating basic characteristics of a marine low-speed piston engine. The fOJmulas allow to carry out continuous computations in interpolation intervals for the basic set of engines proposed by manufacturers in the years 1981-1992, and may be used in numerical procedures of ship design.
