Formulation and evaluation of colon targeted Aceclofenac tablets
Journal Title: Indian Journal of Research in Pharmacy and Biotechnology - Year 2017, Vol 5, Issue 2
Abstract
Aceclofenac colon targeted tablets were prepared by using natural polymers like guar gum and Locust bean gum. Matrix core tablets were prepared by using various concentrations of polymers. The core tablets were coated by compression coating. In-vitro dissolution testing was conducted and the drug release was studied. In the present work stability studies were carried out for selected formulations at 45°/75% RH for 3 month. The formulations were evaluated for percent drug released.
