FUMARIA PARVIFLORA- A REVIEW

Abstract
The preliminary phytochemical analysis of Fumaria parviflora revealed the presence of flavonoids, glycosides, tannins, saponins, steroids, triterpenoids, phenols, alkaloids and anthraquinones. The pharmacological studies showed that Fumaria parviflora possess hepatoprotective, antidiabetic, antiinflammatory, antipyretic, analgesic, prokinetic, laxative, dermatological, antimicrobial, antiparasitic, reproductive, anticholinesterase and smooth muscle relaxant effects. This review will highlight the chemical constituents and the pharmacological effects of Fumaria parviflora. Keywords: chemical constituents, pharmacology, Fumaria parviflora
