Abstract
The article analyzes the main functions and principles of the administration of military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking into account the experience of military and administrative administration of NATO member states. The analysis of the priority defense tasks related to the reform of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine in accordance with NATO standards.
