Gender differences in the quality of life and eating behavior of neurotic patients

Abstract
The article is devoted to consideration of gender differences in quality of life for patients with a neurosis. It is underlined that the study of quality of life is needed both with taking into account of the present state of a person and his possible pathology and from the point of view of efficiency of his treatment. It is stated that before the treatment the perception of quality of life by neurotic patients, by both women and men, being characterized lower indexes, than for healthy persons, coincides mainly. It is shown that gender differences show up in that men estimate quality of the life higher than women, in the field of finances, independence and vital priorities, and women in none of spheres of functioning estimate quality of the life higher than men.
