Currently, there are more than 3 thousand living languages in the World, which have merged into 17 language families. One of the major language families is the Altai language family, which includes Turkic languages, Mongolian languages, Tungus-Manchu languages, Korean and Japanese-Ryukyu languages. The disintegration of the Altaic proto-language occurred about 7,000 years ago.
