Abstract
Geographical education in elementary and secondary schools in Slovakia is at crossroad. It is probably heading to make dramatic changes in methods as well as its content. The situation in geographical education is not tragicall today (better then in many other subjects), but the society wants to change the whole system of education. The basic tasks are to make it in most useful way.
