All specimens after fixation in 10% buffered formalin, processed and then stained with Hematoxylin& Eosin to study various histopathological patterns. Most common clinical indications for hysterectomy were fibroid, DUB. Most common pathologies identified were leiomyoma and chronic nonspecific cervicitis.Histopathological study of uterine and cervix lesions is mandatory in establishing the final diagnosis.
