historical tendencies of the ukrainian women basketball players’ participation in the olympic games

Abstract
In research are given the historical facts of the Ukrainian women basketball players’ participation in the combined teams of the USSR, United team of CIS and Ukraine form 1976, when the women’s basketball was included to the Olympic Games program. Analysis of publication allowed establishing surnames of the Ukrainian women basketball players, who became the Olympic champions. The results of matches were analyzed, the efficiency of the competitive activity of the Ukrainian women basketball players in Olympic Games was evaluated, and the teams’ leaders were determined by outscoring.
