HISTORY OF THE VIRTUAL REALITY CONCEPT

Abstract

The concept of virtual reality, which has been used in many areas from education to health in recent years, from architecture to construction, from sales to marketing and from organization to entertainment, has been used for everything that does not exist but is accepted by the assumptions of existence. The virtual reality can be expressed as the interaction of the computer and the human with the features of antagonism in every area of life. The old methods that have lost their influence in today's world have left their place to an evolving process that enables easy solutions in every area produced by the virtual reality, hologram techniques that digital data has increased. This process, which progresses with developing technologies, comes up to day by day based on the dates when the machine and human being started to interact. This progress which has contributed to the development of many disciplines has made the study of the history of the concept of virtual reality important. The historical process of the concept of virtual reality is progressing in parallel with the development of hardware and software used in computer technologies. These developments in computer technology have also made it necessary to examine the concept of virtual reality according to the periods. The history that has been examined during these periods will also lay the ground for the more environmentally friendly, more quality, economical and efficient use of the concept of virtual reality, which is proven in many areas.
