HOSTELS AS COLLECTIVE ACCOMMODATION FACILITIES IN UKRAINE

Abstract
The article considers the relevance of the hostels development in Ukraine as an affordable budget accommodation for young people. The main tendencies of the tourism industry are highlighted, confirming the expediency of wider introduction of hostels to the hotel industry of the country. The legal provisions and regulations of the activities of enterprises of this type in Ukraine are analyzed. Hostel standards are provided to classify hostels by category.
