Hotel chain as an effective way of doing business in the hospitality industry: world experience

Abstract
Two main groups of factors that influenced on the formation of modern network hotel business and underpin in the basis of globalization processes are considered. Two types of hotel chains in the international practice of hotel business are distinguished. The most common form of management of the modern hotel chains, including franchising agreement and management contracts are characterized. An hotel chains competitive advantages in opposition to independent hotels are introduced and determined that the most progressive form is franchising.
