HR-BRANDING AS THE MECHANISM FOR RISING REGIONS' COMPETITIVENESS IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The practice of the regional governance in Ukraine indicates a lack of innovative approaches to intensify their development. Traditional planning mechanisms are ineffective. Nowadays, regional markets undergo significant transformation that shifts the focus from the employers' domination into the development of "employees' value"(this is especially important for the youth segment of the labor market). In a competitive environment, employers are looking for new approaches including quality marketing techniques and modern methods of territorial marketing in order to form strong intellectual (human) capital. These modern techniques contribute producing of the successful image of the "employer-based" HR-branding.
