Human capital: realities and prospects of reproduction and use in the region’s economy

Abstract
The definition of the human capital essence with the substantiation of the role of current formation’s main factors, use and development has been deepened. The comparison of the trends of demographic development at different levels: world, national and regional has been carried out. The peculiarities and key problems of the formation and use of human capital in the economy on the example of the Kirovohrad region in comparison with other regions of the country have been revealed. The comprehensive assessment of the state and prospects for the formation of human capital of the region has been carried out. The proposals for overcoming the identified negative tendencies in the formation of human capital of Kirovohrad region, its development and use in the economy of the region, taking into account Ukraine’s desire for European integration, has been developed.
