HYDROLOGICAL MODELLING FOR DIVICI - POJEJENA WETLAND'S TRIBUTARIES
Journal Title: ISB-INMA TEH AGRICULTURAL AND MECHANICAL ENGINEERING - Year 2017, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
In this paper were analyzed the maximum discharges produced under different rainfalls recurrence, for the river basins of Divici-Pojejena wetland's tributaries. A modelling software for the process of rainfallrunoff HEC-HMS 4.0 developed by the US Army Corps of Engineers, was used. The main input data consists in precipitation with different probability, obtained by statistical processing of observation data and physical-geographical characteristics of the river basins in GIS format. Hydrological modelling is a useful tool in decision making process at river basin level. The results consist in the quantification of hydrological cycle elements at river basin level as consequence of precipitations variation.
