Ichtiofauna polskiej części dorzecza Czarnej Orawy

Abstract
As a result of fish sampling at 32 sites established within the Polish part of the Czarna Orawa River catchment (the Danube drainage, Black Sea basin) that was carried out in 2010–2011 two specimens of the Danubian brook lamprey (Eudontomyzon vladykovi) of the Petromyzontidae family and 2700 specimens belonging to 19 fish species of the Cyprinidae, Nemacheilidae, Salmonidae (including both Salmoninae and Thymallinae), Cottidae, Percidae, and Lotiidae families were captured. On the basis of these results as well as former literature data, the occurrence of 51 lamprey and fish species representing 12 families was documented for the Polish part of the Czarna Orawa River catchment and the Orava Reservoir over the period of recent several dozen years.
