Ile pluralizmu w liberalizmie? John Stuart Mill i Isaiah Berlin

Abstract
Przedmiotem artykułu są implikacje pluralizmu w różnych znaczeniach tego terminu dla liberalizmu dwóch autorów: Johna Stuarta Milla i Isaiaha Berlina. Omawia on sposób, w jaki zagadnienie pluralizmu, w tym pluralizmu wartości, którego zwolennikiem nie jest Mill, a który przyjmuje Berlin, wiąże się z innymi kluczowymi wątkami refleksji obu tych myślicieli: ideałem indywidualności u Milla oraz koncepcją wolności negatywnej Berlina. W rezultacie ich liberalizmy różnią się od siebie, w szczególności w zakresie pożądanej różnorodności kulturowej na poziomie międzynarodowym oraz w obrębie liberalnych społeczeństw.
