Abstract

Imam Abu Bakar Al-Hadad was born in Zabid city of Yemen in 720 Hijri. He was a very pious person, deeply observant of religion and author of many books, of which Kitab ul Johratul Niyara, (Commentary on Al-Qudoori of Hanafi Fiqh) is notable. Al Johratul, Al-Niyara is considered to be a most authentic and reliable source book on Hanafi Law. Imam Abu Bakar died in 800 Hijri and was buried in Zabid
