IMPACT OF ALTERNATIVE DISTRIBUTIONS ON QUANTILE-QUANTILE NORMALITY PLOT
Journal Title: Colloquium Biometricum; Colloquium Biometricum (Online) - Year 2015, Vol 45, Issue
Abstract
Many statistical programs use normal quantile-quantile plots for geometrical visualization of experimental data sets. In the paper we observe how normal quantile-quantile points behave when data sets come from alternative distributions, characterized by different kind of departure from normality. Theoretical lines for these distributions are presented in order to observe relationship between type of departure from normality and location points in a normal Q-Q plot. Additionally, the Shapiro-Wilk’s test is applied to check normality of the data sets.

New test for comparison of binomial proportions: power comparison
In the problem of comparison of two probabilities of success the most widely used test is approximate test based on de Moivre-Laplace theorem. In Jaworski and Zieliński (2017) a new test based on the likelihood ratio was...
Genotype by environment interaction for length of flowering time in winter oilseed rape (Brassica napus L.) using additive main effects and multiplicative interaction model
The objective of this study was to assess genotype by environment interaction for length of flowering time in winter oilseed rape cultivars grown in West Poland by the additive main effects and multiplicative interaction...

NEW CONSTRUCTION OF D-OPTIMAL WEIGHING DESIGNS WITH NON-NEGATIVE CORRELATIONS OF ERRORS
In this paper, the regular D-optimal chemical balance weighing designs with equally non-negative correlated errors are considered. Here we study the issues regard to the existence conditions of optimal designs. Presented...
