Impact of Parents Role as Learning Facilitators in the Academic Performance of Selected Teachers in Buenavista Quezon

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the impacts of parents role as learning facilitators in the academic performance of selected teachers in Buenavista Quezon. . It determined the profile of the learners in terms of age, sex, grade level taught, and teaching experience.It also revealed the impacts of parents role as learning facilitators in the academic performance in terms of learning behavior, motivation in classroom, student success. The researcher used descriptive method of research. This study employed proportionate random sampling design. Under this procedure, the researcher considered to use sixty (60) respondents from the selected teachers in a Public School in Buenavista, Quezon to get the 100% of the respondents. According to the result of ANOVA, the null hypothesis rejected. It means that there is a significance difference on the perceived impact of parents role as learning facilitators in the academic performance when the respondent are grouped accprding to age, grade level, teaching experience.The findings revealed that most of the respondents are within 31-40 years old. The female respondents outnumbered the male population. All of the respondents were Elementary Teachers.
