Abstract
The article discusses the issue of municipal waste management on the ехатріе of the city of Gorzow Wielkopolski. The author has also analyzed the legał acts regulating this issue. He also presented the situation of waste management on the ехатріе of countries in Central and Eastern Europę. The author decided to present this topie, because it aroused a lot of con- troversy among Polish society due to numerous innovations and the naturę of the changes. He also presents the functioning of the Special Union of Municipalities as the Intercommunal Association.
