Implications of Thermal and Thermo Chemical Treatments in Electrolytic Plasma on the Phasic Composition of Steels 40Cr10 and OLC 55
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2007, Vol 30, Issue 1
Abstract
The X-ray diffraction researches allowed the identification of the phases present in the structure of steels 40Cr10 and OLC 55, treated thermally and thermal-chemically in electrolytic plasma and the calculation of concentration of the structural phases identified.

Comparative Characteristics of Martensite and Bainite in Cu-Based SMAs
The present work reports the evolution of micro-structure and shape memory behavior in a Cu-15 Zn-6 Al (mass. %) shape memory alloy (SMA), as a function of the applied hot working procedure and of the performed heat trea...
Coatings Systems: Chromium Carbide, Nitride and Carbonitride
The process of the chemical deposition from vaporous implies the adsorption of the mobile atoms (monomers) on the substrate surface, their migration with embryos and stable nucleus formation, followed up by further growt...
Structure Effects over Behavior of Graphite Gray Iron in Running
The work aims at emphasizing the structure changes of graphite gray iron, as a result of make-casting conditions and their effects over behavior in running of several cast items. Researches consisted of complex character...
Tribocorrosion – Insight into Material Degradation in Specific Environments
Tribocorrosion is an irreversible surface degradation mechanism of a metallic and/or non-metallic material as a result of its physicochemical and mechanical interactions during relative motion (friction, sliding, impact,...
Numerical Study on Ballistic Phenomena - Part Two
The study of ballistic phenomena (interior ballistics, exterior ballistics and terminal ballistics) is an activity that involves the use of complex and at the same time very expensive equipment. Also, another aspect wort...
