IMPROVED EPHEMERIS OF POORLY STUDIED ECLIPSING BINARY GSC 3950-00707 = 2MASS J20355082+5242136
Journal Title: Odessa Astronomical Publications - Year 2017, Vol 30, Issue
Abstract
We made our CCD-observations of GSC 3950-00707 by using the telescope Celestron-14 of Vihorlat Observatory and Astronomical Observatory on Kolonica Saddle. The moments of minima were calculated by using the symmetrical polynomial fit. We also analyzed the observations from automated surveys ASAS-SN and found 3 mean minima by using trigonometrical polynomial fit. The analysis of our observations and data from the surveys allows to conclude that it is the W UMa-type variable and its published period value is not accurate. We analyzed the O-C curve and corrected the elements.

MODERN CCD OBSERVATIONS OF SELECTED MINOR PLANETS FOR THE CONNECTION OF DYNAMIC AND KINEMATIC COORDINATE SYSTEMS
One of the methods of determining the orientation parameters of the dynamic and kinematic coordinate systems is to use of long-term series of ground-based observations of selected asteroids. For achievement of the best a...
Molybdenum abundance in some open clusters
This paper presents the results of determination of the molybdenum abundances in 13 G, K type stars in the open clusters NGC 2477 and NGC 2506. The abundances of molybdenum were determined using stellar atmosphere models...
HIP 13962 – THE POSSIBLE FORMER MEMBER OF BINARY SYSTEM WITH SUPERNOVA
The run away supergiant star HIP13962 (spectral type G0Ia) was recently pointed as a possible former binary companion of young pulsar PSRJ0826+2637. The spectraof HIP13962 wereo btained in Haute-Provence observatory (Fra...
ZELDOVICH LOCAL PANCAKE: DARK ENERGY DOMINATION
Zeldovich Local Pancake is a twodimensional system of 15 giant galaxies nearest to us. Two of the galaxies, the Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy, move to each other in the Local Group, while the rest of the galaxies ar...
ULTI-WAVELENGTH MONITORING OF THE CHANGING-LOOK AGN NGC 2617 DURING STATE CHANGES
Optical and near-infrared photometry, optical spectroscopy, and soft X-ray and UV monitoring of the changing-look active galactic nucleus NGC 2617 show that it continues to have the appearance of a type-1 Sey...
