IMPROVING THE FUNCTIONING QUALITY URHC IN HIGH-SPEED CONDITIONS

Abstract
In the article it is investigated the current state of high-speed rail transport in Ukraine and the main problems of its development. The domestic and international experience in the implementing of high-speed traffic on the rail transport has been analyzed. The article considers the prospects for the development of high-speed railways of Ukraine, the tasks concerning the implementation of high-speed traffic and the possible development based on the international experience. The proposal for increasing the efficiency of the functioning of rail transport in general has been made. The level of capacity usage for one of the heavy traffic routes of passenger transportation on the Ukrainian railway has been calculated. It has been proposed to redistribute the traffic flows with partial separation of passenger traffic from cargo. The necessity of effective use of the section's capacity has been determined. At the initial stage of the development of high-speed lines this will help to increase the density of traffic flows, sectional and maximal speed, the efficiency of the functioning of rail transport with the absolute compliance with traffic safety. In the future, with the provision of the existing passenger transportation needs, it will be possible to start the building of new high-speed lines with the economic expediency and attraction of new technologies.
