“INDEPENDENCE MARCH” IN MEHMET AKIF ERSOY’S CREATIVITY

Abstract
The article describes the history of the creation of “Independence March” by M.A. Ersoy, the Turkish poet. In connection with this, the article also reveals the socio-political and economic situation in the country at the beginning of the last century in Turkey. The formation of new political relations in the country was accompanied by an increase of the socio-political activity of people. The process of consolidation of the nation and development of the national values was taking place. Ersoy wrote the poem, which later became the national anthem of the country. A detailed analysis of the content of these verses is the main content of this article. The author skillfully balanced between the national and sacred values, including religious ones. He outlined the national characteristics through the motives of faith, its testimony of faith, the concept of paradise, the God, azan, ecstasy and other religious motives through a rich, metaphorical, and artistically decorated speech.
