Influence of the Internet addiction on the personality of adolescent

Abstract
The article is devoted to the research of the actual problem of adolescent internet addiction. The psychological foundations of concepts “Internet addiction” and “addiction” are revealed. It is determined that the most vulnerable category that is influenced by the Internet addiction is teenagers. The main reason is communicative deprivation, when the child becomes closed in communication with peers, in addition, she loses emotional contact with close people who play a major role in the socio-psychological development. Accordingly, the Internet becomes a full substitute for these reasons at this age. In the course of an experimental study among the studied adolescents, we found that almost half of them have an obsessive desire to use the Internet. During the work, it was determined that the problem of Internet addiction continues to grow along with the development of new information technologies, and therefore is gaining momentum in its relevance.
