INFLUENCE OF VITAMIN D ON THE RESULTS OF CHRONIC HEPATITIS C TREATMENT

Abstract
Th e article presents examination results of 43 patients with chronic hepatitis C for 25-hydroxycholecalciferol (25-OH vitamin D3 ) and total vitamin D. It has been shown that defi ciency of 25-OH vitamin D 3 and total vstamin D. The level of 25-OH vitamin D3 can be regarded as a predictor of stability of virological response to antiviral therapy.
