Abstract
In this paper we consider the class of optimal arrangement of rectangles on a given plane, buyout belong to the class of NP-hard, but because their decision is of particular interest from the standpoint of reducing the computa-tional cost and modify / use of methods for solving them. Reviewed some problematic aspects of the application of methods for finding the solution of these problems. Proposed to use the methods of evolutionary modeling, par-ticularly genetic algorithms. An information subsystem that allows you to receive a rational layout of goods on the pallet using genetic algorithms. The results of numerical experiments.
