INFORMATION WARS AND TRANSFORMATION OF SOCIAL CONTROL RELATIONS IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY

Abstract
The article describes the processes of transformation in the mechanisms of relations of social control in the information society. A number of features of increasing the dynamics of information processes in a postindustrial society are considered. The possibilities of communicative interaction in two aspects – positive or democratic and negative-are described. The possibilities of social control in a democratic society and their changes with the advent of the Internet era are analyzed. The author concentrates on the theoretical and methodological positions of scientists belonging to different scientific schools and considering the features of the transformation of communicative practices of the modern information society.
