Innovative products and services in the Polish banking sector

Abstract
Competition requirements and the desire to succeed are encouraging banks to continually seek new products and services. Technology development enables banks to in¬troduce new technologies, optimize delivery processes, and create the basis for information exchange and sales across all distribution channels. It is often the brake of innovation that ensures the right level of security. This is mainly due to the specificity of the institution, which is the bank and the need to maintain the confidence of the public. The aim of the study is to analyze selected banking innovations on the example of banks. The types of inno¬vations in the banking sector will be discussed and their significance for the competitiveness of the bank will be assessed.<br/><br/>
