Innowacyjna podjęzykowa immunoterapia alergenowa u chorych uczulonych na pyłki traw

Abstract
Among the many, still desirable methods of administering the desensitization vaccine, injection methods have a wellestablished position, however, the nuisance associated with the need for injection and the side effects have caused a growing interest in the sublingual route of administration of the vaccine. At present sublingual desensitization method is approved as an equivalent and alternative one to injectable immunotherapy in adults and children. Sublingual immunotherapy is most often used in patients allergic to grass pollen by means of tablets containing grass pollen allergens of one (Grazax®) or five grass pollen (Oralair®). The number of pollens in the tablet does not affect the immunomodulatory efficacy of the preparation, depending on the phenomenon of cross-allergy. Grazax® tablet is formed according to the innovative technology (Zydis® Bio Technology), which facilitates the dissolution of the formulation in a few seconds. Sublingual tablets allow for pre-seasonal, co-seasonal and long-term immunotherapy, for several years. Lasting clinical effect after completion of long-term immunotherapy (usually 3 years) is better documented in the trials of Grazax®. ............................... Wśród wielu, wciąż poszukiwanych metod podawania szczepionki odczulającej, sposoby iniekcyjne mają ugruntowaną pozycję, jednak uciążliwości, związane z koniecznością wykonania iniekcji oraz objawami ubocznymi spowodowały rosnące zainteresowanie podjęzykową drogą podawania szczepionki. Obecnie podjęzykowa metoda odczulania jest aprobowana, jako metoda równorzędna i alternatywna do immunoterapii iniekcyjnej u dorosłych i dzieci. Podjęzykową immunoterapię alergenową najczęściej stosuje się u osób uczulonych na pyłki traw za pomocą tabletek, zawierających alergeny jednego pyłku traw (Grazax®) lub pięciu pyłków traw (Oralair®). Liczba pyłków w tabletce nie wpływa na skuteczność immunomodulacyjną preparatu, zależną od zjawiska alergii krzyżowej. Tabletka Grazax® formowana jest według innowacyjnej technologii (ZYDIS® Bio Technology), która ułatwia rozpuszczenie się preparatu w ciągu kilku sekund. Tabletki podjęzykowe umożliwiają immunoterapię swoistą przedsezonową, około sezonową i długotrwałą, codzienną przez kilka lat. Trwały efekt kliniczny po zakończonej immunoterapii wieloletniej (zwykle 3 lata) lepiej dokumentują badania preparatu Grazax®.
